Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh:
On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, the Rajni Care Foundation, in a spirit of social service, organized a large-scale free eye check-up camp in Bareilly. This camp was held on January 25th with the cooperation of experienced doctors and the medical team from Sitapur Eye Hospital.

The main objective of this health camp was to provide better eye care services to needy people and to identify eye diseases in a timely manner. A large number of citizens participated in the camp and had their eyes examined.

Objectives of the Camp

The Rajni Care Foundation continuously conducts such social campaigns to ensure that healthcare facilities reach the weaker and needy sections of society. The objectives of this eye check-up camp were:

  • To create awareness among people about eye health
  • To identify diseases through timely check-ups
  • To provide free treatment to needy patients
  • To ensure free surgeries for diseases like cataracts
  • 232 People Undergo Eye Examinations

A total of 232 people had their eyes examined and received consultations from specialist doctors at this free eye check-up camp. The examinations included vision testing, eye pressure measurement, retinal examination, and other necessary tests.

During the examinations conducted by the doctors, 19 patients were diagnosed with cataracts and were selected for free surgery for further treatment.

Arrangements for Free Surgeries

On the initiative of the Rajni Care Foundation, surgeries were performed on the selected patients on January 27th. Nine of these surgeries were successfully completed.

One patient's surgery was covered under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana (a government health insurance scheme).

The entire cost of the remaining 8 patients' surgeries was borne by the Rajni Care Foundation.

The organization's goal is that no needy person should be deprived of treatment due to financial reasons.
